“You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.” - Clay P. Bedford
Spot the CrossFitter! Hint; Look for Scott B in the first picture and Kim L in the second. Oh, and we got some press thanks to Scott B and Rich:
“Rich Smith and Scott Brown work together at CrossFit Proper in Corona and joined other members for the fun of it. The CrossFit method combines running with gymnastics and Olympic lifting to give everyone a varied and personalized workout experience.”

For those of you who have ran a 5k/10k or even a 1/2 marathon or marathon tell us your experiences. Any tips for the newbies? Post it to the comments!

I think everyone is sick and tired of running a 5k/10k so time for the Filthy Fifties.

Way ready for something other than running! I need to work on my mental game for running – the mile markers were hard for me. I felt myself slow down as soon as I saw I was only at the 1st mile. Overall great experience though! I enjoyed cheering for the rest of our team and seeing the look on Jack’s face when he got his medal.

i don’t know…this is a filthy workout. maybe running a 5k, or even a 10k is a better choice

I just want to comment that I was scrolling through this month’s posts, and it makes me so proud. Our box is soooo awesome. We have the best members ever in every way I can think of! Everyone tries really hard and supports & encourages each other. Thank you for making our CrossFit a wonderful & fun place where everyone can get a great workout and be better people than they were yesterday.
