After Gymnastics cert, Charisse committed herself to learning strict muscles-ups. That means more strength, more technique, less kip. PATIENCE in PRACTICING PERFECTION is getting her there. She started the progression on her knees. She is now at standing and hopes to be hanging with the false grip soon. We should approach all things we need to work on with patience and diligence.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Great job to everyone that did the benchmark WOD today. Deadline for Proper Lifestyle Challenge Benchmarks is this Friday, July 2nd. If you bought into the pot, you must get your benchmark done at the gym by this Friday to have a chance to win! A good time to benchmark would be Wed morning at 9am, Wed night at 7pm, Thurs at 7pm, Friday 9am, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm. If you need alternative times, let us know.

Anyone who wants to join Carissa and Katie M. on Friday morning at 6:30am-7:30am for an “Out of the Box WOD,” text Carissa at 951.295.1929. The WOD starts at the corner of Green River and Canyon Crest. Park in front of the fire station on Canyon Crest. It’s going to be crazy fun. Wear some trail shoes if you have some, and of course, your CrossFit Proper shirt!

4th of July: Hang out with us at Santana Park if you aren’t doing anything. Bring snacks, drinks and a chair or blanket.
